BigFoot Visits the Big Cities of the World - Another BigFoot Sighting

Lancaster, PA — While Ellen DeGeneres was in Rwanda at the gorilla sanctuary she supports, Fox Chapel Publishing author and celebrity naturalist with the National Wildlife Federation David Mizejewski joined guest hosts DJ Twitch and comedian Loni Love for a segment all about wildlife conservation.

Mizejewski brought several amazing wildlife ambassadors to share with Twitch, Loni and the viewers, including a large boa constrictor snake, a baby zebra and an African serval kitten—to help spread the conservation messages of the National Wildlife Federation and to inspire people to join its cause of protecting wildlife.

To take the global conservation message to the local level, the segment ended by featuring Mizejewski’s new book Attracting Birds, Butterflies and Other Backyard Wildlife, Expanded Second Edition, a practical how-to guide to creating a beautiful garden or landscape that provides habitat to local birds, butterflies, bees, amphibians and other wonderful wildlife.

“Whether it’s mountain gorillas in Rwanda or monarch butterflies in the United States, wildlife species around the globe are declining and need our help,” says Mizejewski. “Many species can happily coexist with us in or cities, towns and neighborhoods if we only provide them with the habitat they need to survive. Planting a wildlife habitat garden is a simple way each of us can make our piece of the world a better place.”

The episode featuring David Mizejewski will premiere on May 23, 2019.
