Fox Chapel Publishing Launches Jim Shore Journal Line
Lancaster, PA — Jim Shore, legendary artist and gift industry icon, is taking his signature designs to the world of journals. Quiet Fox Designs, and imprint of Fox Chapel Publishing, is gearing up to kick off 2021 with a new journal program featuring Shore’s iconic artwork.
Shore’s stunning hardcover journals feature Jim Shore’s unmistakable style with wholesome themes and folk-art forms. From quilting and rosemaling to tole painting, the journals exude Americana as the 6 x 8 lined books invite journalers to self-reflect.
“Journals are a perfect vehicle for art,” Jim Shore says. “In fact, that’s what mine are—more sketch books than manuscripts. The important thing, at least for me, is to keep a record of ideas and experiences. And those can come in a lot of different forms!”
Each journal includes original cover art, 100 lined pages of high-quality, extra-thick paper, and inspirational quotes throughout based on Americana tradition for a humbling writing experience. The journals are Awaken the Day, God Bless America, Home is Where the Heart Is, It’s a New Day, Love is the Greatest Gift, and Thankful, Grateful, Blessed.
As the founder of Disney TraditionsTM, an extremely popular line of Disney figurines, Jim Shore has accumulated an impressive following through North America and Europe.
This successful line of collectibles has sold more than $250 million at retail stores and can be found at Disney parks and fine retailers throughout the world. Shore continues to attract fans worldwide due to his leading artist status through Enesco and other strategic partnerships including Peanuts, Coca-Cola, The Grinch, and many others.
“It’s truly a pleasure for Fox Chapel Publishing to expand our Jim Shore program with the addition of these beautiful hardcover journals that not only feature some of Jim’s most popular original works, but also make great gifts to friends and family who enjoy the richness and traditions found in every single Jim Shore creation. We look forward to our continued partnership with Jim,” David Miller, president of Fox Chapel Publishing, says.
